A Study of PID Direct Torque Control for Three-Phase Asynchronous Motor

Three-phase asynchronous motors (are aslo called induction motors) are rugged, robust, and an integral part of many applications for most industries worldwide. The general type the three-phase motor, mostly used in industry, is squirrel cage. method introduced into this paper direct torque control (DTC), which utilizes characteristic a motor to produce quick robust response inverters. entire system analyzed simulated by Matlab Simulink toolbox, where PID controlled approach applied. Our main contributes compare performance including three scenarios: without load, negative load positive using method. simulation results show effective proposed with scenarios.
